  Serena, I love all of your makeovers, refreshes, or as my friend says, fluffing your chi. You&apos;ve been on an amazing journey all these years, raising three boys while creating, producing, studying, and partnering with companies, not to mention two rounds of Duluth modeling, healthy exercise and eating, and motivating us. <br><br>My youngest son, now 26, moved into permanent housing this summer, allowing me to convert his 10 x 10 bedroom into a home office and hobby room for my husband. We found a rug on sale that he loves, framed a few pictures, and yours-truly organized all his gear into the closet, with doors removed and an Elfa system in place. It came together.<br><br>Back to you, I like that pop of pink and I think the wood frame and the wood banister are nice off-sets to the white walls. &nbsp;Your floral rug is gorgeous and so me. I think you should frame and hang anything that brings you joy, and like you, I&apos;m in an all-male household so I decorate in a way that is feminine but not girly, spacious and light.<br><br>I am still sporting green walls, blue walls and yellow walls. After years of apartment living, I am over white walls and beige drapes. I agree thought, that a dark house benefits from bright, reflective paint, and all one color makes touch up a breeze.

  I don&apos;t have an entryway (we live in a cape cod style house, so we walk into the living room). &nbsp;I just brightened up the living room with light mint walls on 2 of the walls and darker mint on 2 of the walls. &nbsp;I also got rid of the open shoe rack and replaced it with a closed rack I put together from Amazon. &nbsp;Love it now. &nbsp;You are right, brightening up a space makes all the difference. &nbsp;I love the artwork and the rugs. &nbsp;I am going to have to replace the rug on my stairs eventually (but I have to replace the rug as wall to wall because the treads aren&apos;t show wood).
