A Red and black striped Rex would’ve been terrifying

"The dinosaurs should not feel like monsters" shame the Jurassic World series don't share that mentality.

 It’s worth noting:

1. Phil Tippet had already created a stop motion T. rex with realistic posture and motion for his short “Prehistoric Beast,” that’s why he got the job

2. Tippet was also key to helping the animators give all the CGI dinosaurs realistic motion throughout the entire film; one might get the mistaken impression from this video that his stop motion work was simply used as reference, but that was not the case

I loved the Crash artwork I remember they used them heavily in the Topps cards. there was some cool ones with the baby velociraptors , least I think they were baby raptors

This was awesome. I’d never seen some of those designs before! Spielberg and the team made one of the most iconic animal characters in cinema history. I’d rank their dinosaur designs, especially the Tyrannosaurus up there as recognizable as King Kong and Godzilla honestly.

09:00 - That team was actually just one person - Steve "Spaz" Williams, a brilliant animator and modeller, you can see him animating at 09:23 my favorite (and, in my opinion, most successful)
shot of the Tyrannosaurus called MR7. A Genius who, unfortunately, rarely gets credit for his groundbreaking work.

the journey taken to make this film is absolutely legendary and inspiring. the amount of teamwork and correlation between so many different avenues of professions to make arguably the most iconic and influential dinosaur put to screen is a testament to the craft as a whole

One of the most terrifying as well, which made it so incredible as a kid!
