  I find it hard to belive: The amount of effort that was put into these films... Animatronix, they built 1:1 models, scenery and everything. It must have been so expensive but it definitely payed off! The shots aged so well even today they look convincing. Meanwhile today movies have gotten more and more expensive, yet everything is greenscreen and just appears so sterile and boring...

  I always say to everyone unashamedly that this is a 10/10 movie for me. People who are surprised will never get it. I was 13 when this movie came out and I still remember exactly where I even sat in the theater. It has been the single-best movie experience of my life. It was magical. It was an incredible adventure come to life. It made me absolutely love movies. And I have chased this experience ever since with every movie.<br><br>EDIT -&gt; To this day, the theme where they arrive at the island on the helicopter makes me emotional. There is something in that that makes me feel child-like wonder again.

  The introduction to the T-Rex was one of the most intense, amazing, memorable scenes in a movie ever.. it&apos;s so perfect.
