Creed won by the decision of the judges - meaning some of the judges thought Rocky won, but most of the judges thought Creed won. But Creed whispered to Rocky that he didn't want to fight him again.

Sylvester Stallone himself always says that Rocky is a love story and the boxing is just a vehicle to move the story along. Look forward to watching your future Rocky reactions

I'm from Philadelphia. We really did yell out the window to talk to each other back then.

The actor who played Apollo Creed, Carl Weathers, just died last year. He was in a lot of great movies, especially in the 1970s and 1980s, and kept acting right up to the end in streaming series like the Mandalorian just in the last few years. RIP Carl Weathers! You could watch this series in his memory, since he's a big part of these movies.

The story of Rocky is much like the real story of Sylvester Stallone. Here's my favorite part of that story. The dog in this (named Butkus), was Sylvester Stallone's real-life dog, a loyal bullmastiff who was with him during his struggles (including a dark time when he was homeless) and became a beloved co-star, even appearing in Rocky II before his passing in 1981. Stallone famously had to sell Butkus for $40 when broke, then bought him back for a much higher price after the Rocky script sold, making their on-screen reunion a deeply personal moment.

By the way, this was directed by John Avildsen who would later direct The Karate Kid.
