The wrestler who Sylvester Stallone was fighting was Hulk Hogan. Hulk Hogan and Mr. T were a tag team in professional wrestling in the 1980s, and he passed away on July 24, 2025

What is great is Mr. T plays a very aggressive, tough, mean guy, but he is the NICEST GUY you will ever meet. He is friendly, has a great sense of humor, and loves his fans.

People actually cheered in the movie theater during this movie. I’m old enough to remember that, lol.

Never give up the sense of authenticity you two have. It's very rare to find that in the world anymore.

What I love about Rocky 3 is that we get to see how much of an athletic genius Apollo Creed was when it came to boxing.

Apollo Creed wasn’t as just some flashy, charismatic, freakishly gifted boxer. Creed was a fiercely driven, systematic, diligent-working and intelligent competitor, and it showed by the way he trained Rocky.

If you notice, Rocky was just a “Philadelphia Slugger,” but didn’t have a lot of technical skills. Rocky didn’t have a jab, elite conditioning, sense of adjustment, foot work, head movement or defensive strategies... Apollo Creed came in and fixed all of that, and turned Rocky into a complete all-around top level champion boxer.

This film was definitely my favorite from the entire series.

Mr. T played Clubber Lang perfectly, especially when he throws hard punches!
