In 3 short years since 7DEC1941, the US and it's people all across the nation had built thousand's upon thousand's of planes, ships,...etc.

38:10 When Truman took the office of president, he didn't decide to drop the bomb at all, because that decision had already been made by Roosevelt. He simply chose to leave the plans as they were. In fact, as vice president, he didn't even know about the bomb until he took over from Roosevelt. That's how secret the Manhattan project was.

Had it not been for this, the USA would probably not even have been part of WW2.

I can well imagine how surprising it must have been for the Americans when the Germans attacked Pearl Harbor.

15:02 They were SAILORS! Not soldiers! Army is soldiers and Navy sailors!

33:23 The US Air Force did not yet exist. That came after the war. The US Navy did not have B-17s as depicted in the video.

Here is the tragedy. Winston Churchill knew Japan was going 2 attack Pearl Harbor. J. Edgar Hoover was told tt Japan was going 2 attack Pearl Harbor.

The question is did Churchill tell this 2 FDR, did Hoover tell FDR? We will most likely never know.

But the fact is Churchill and Hoover knew this. It is documented in this book:

"Family of Spies," by Christine Kuehn. Her grandfather was the German spy who helped the Japanese attack Pearl Harbor.

I feel sorry for the boys who were simply made an OBLIGATORY sacrifice in the name of “high politics.” After all, EVERYONE, including Roosevelt, knew both the date and even the time. Admiral Hazzard Kimmel commanded the American Pacific Fleet, which was stationed at the Pearl Harbor naval base on December 7, 1941. And he was “sent” there as well..He assumed the position on February 1, 1941. He managed to make some improvements and streamline the service. But again, this was only within the Navy. He had no right to interfere in aviation matters. So, this very “line of aircraft” for Japanese fighters and others is not his responsibility. Nevertheless, he was accused of this as well. And until he left (in 1968), he never managed to get to the truth.
