Thank you, Mr. Brady. You and your team have done my Grandfather honorably; he still lies with the Arizona. Just as honorable is this tribute to the thousands of men who salvaged Pearl Harbor; their story stands as a monument to what we are capable of accomplishing. Well done!

Hearing the trapped men tapping morse code on the hull and being unable to free them , would haunt you for years Mike . What an achievement to refloat and repair most of these battleships .

I am not a vengeful person but I can literally taste the satisfaction the crews of those ships must have felt when they were finally able to retaliate against their attackers

The USS West Virginia (the great Wee Vee) would be the only battle wagon from Pearl Harbor to enter Tokyo Harbor to see the Japanese surrender.

One thing no one ever mentions is the fact thag after pearl harbor, for a week, countless soldiers and sailors werent allowed to go home as they cleaned up the dead bodies and oil from the harbor. Hardly any of them spoke about it because of how horrific the work was.

Dear friend Mike, thank you for the Pearl Harbor Remembrance. There are only 12 survivors in the U.S. still with us 🇺🇲

Mike, as a non-maritime Anorak, I think the biggest kudos I can give to you is that you continue to release content that's fascinating and incredibly well-produced whilst not patronising your lay audience. Your content is a credit to you and your team—and no AI slop.

Keep it up!

Love from another Mike x

I spent 22+ years commissioned service in the USN, from 1985 to 2007, and have never failed to be moved to tears by the stories that emerged from the attack on Pearl Harbor. True valor doesn't always come during the crucible of actual combat, as proven by the many men who toiled away in the darkness of the sunken and largely destroyed ships from the 7 December 1941 tragedy. We are still in their debt to this day.

Mike, your level of documentary standards rivals that of professional studios. And it is so great that you narrate yourself instead of being lazy and using A.I. voice.

The way the engineers brought those battleships back from devastation at Pearl Harbor felt almost miraculous. It shows that human ingenuity and determination can rebuild even the greatest losses of war.
