  It's very sad when a person with so much talent tragically falls on their face at being a kind human being. However, no one deserves to die with a bullet in the back. To say Lennon was complicated would be an understatement.

  Pity he didn’t show any love to his son Julian like he did to Ono’s son. Left him and Cynthia to struggle. Never left him anything in his will and Julian had to buy his father’s guitar at auction cause Ono wouldn’t give it to him. She was the evil one. Got this all from watching videos of Julian Lennon talking about his father

  Fans have read about and known that in his earlier years, John had a terrible terrible temper. Jealousy just added to the anger, and he was a jerk to many many people, his first son, especially. His emphasis in his later years on peace might have been an attempt to right the wrongs in his youth.

  I&apos;ve always been a huge fan of Paul McCartney. <br>Yet I&apos;ve always stated that neither Lennon, or McCartney (or anyone else for that matter) has ever outdone &quot;Lennon/McCartney!&quot;<br>The magic of the two of them writing together was and is an unbeatable combination!

  Lennon certainly struggled with his demons and unresolved childhood traumas throughout his life, and made others around him suffer for it, but I will always respect him for how openly he spoke about it all in public and didn&apos;t lie to his fans. I wish my mother had shown that much backbone at least once.

  Yoko Ono is an example of why we have Evil Stepmother stories. With second families it generally turns out this way.

  Lennon once said he was Crippled inside and seemed to believe that made him unique but in truth, we all carry our own inner struggles to some degree. It&apos;s part of being human.

  I think because John grow up abandoned by his father, he followed that same unresolved trauma onto his own son.

  As a musician he was Awesome! &nbsp;But as a husband/ father to his first wife and child! He was absolutely not . But then he married yoko ono and had a kid! Sean the golden child even though Julian was his first born child. I was happy that they could come together as half sibling&apos;s. &nbsp;And my heart is with Julian. ❤❤❤❤❤

  All people are flawed, faulty, and struggling, often quite desperately, to stay in control -- winging it from one day to the next. And that dream where you&apos;re driving at speed down a road with cars parked on either side, and you can only just barely touch the pedals. Life ISN&apos;T simple. I&apos;ve never met anyone who didn&apos;t have something going on -- and the quiet ones, they are often the most &quot;interesting&quot; cases. &nbsp; &nbsp; :0/

  I think for many of years so many of us have heard about his being at clubs, in England, drunk out of his mind but insulting and destroying young and upcoming artists for example. As the others, basically sat back in shock and then distanced themselves from him to save their nights.
