Cute that he thought they generated merit with the prayer wheel, when they ignorantly (and condescendingly) turned it backwards (counter-clockwise). Oooops! Very much a Raj-era time capsule…and the Dodge product pitch (very subtle) is priceless.

The commentary I expect from the time but it’s the barely disguised condescension that gets me. <br>There’s no way the human race has processed how far we’ve come so fast. This wasn’t really that long ago either.

I think a good use in school would be to have students take a section of the transcript, analyze word choices, identify language that is prejudicial or that indicates the colonizer's view, and then rewrite it in a more modern, neutral style.
