What an abomination of a final report by the NTSB. Obviously, because they failed to find the source of the fire and why it had ignited in the first place during their year long investigation, they had to pin the blame on somebody else (innocent pilots and cabin crew) to save their own prideful selves from any anticipated criticism from their failures in the report. Ironically of course they received even more criticism for deciding to do that! The pilots and cabin crew were heroic in their actions and the NTSB should be rightfully ashamed at their post-incident behavior.

I think the moment they noticed smoke on the plane they should've declared emergency and landed as soon as possible...you cant play with the possibility of fire. They were way too calm with the smoke.

ntsb find the planes black box flight recorders from the back and they were send to the lab.
