No flight should have gone out in the snow

I know this is a little off topic and I don't want to be disrespectful to the victims of the crash. But is anyone else impressed by how Mr. Moshansky hasn't aged since 1989? This episode aired in 2010 but I just saw a recent picture of him and he still looks the same today.

Usually a pretty good sign , something is wrong when you start hitting the trees..... But that guy's quote was classic

This plane is/was a death trap... They built just over 200 of these and there have been over 20 accidents with 10+ fatalities.

Next time passengers moan about delays (yes they aren’t pleasant) but ask yourself would you rather go now and die? Or wait till it’s safe?

I remember this crash. I lived not far from Dryden at the time. Horrific for all and made even more so that another plane crashed when it didn't need to. ♥️🇨🇦

All good these days - deicing has come a long way

Thought it might be lack of deicing when I heard about them sitting an hour waiting for 10 extra passengers.
