One thing I didn't really touch on more was emulation of older consoles. It wasn't really in my thoughts when purchasing this device but when modding the DSi XL you can play a lot of your older games up to SNES, so basically anything up to 16 bit and it's like having a Virtual Console for it which is nice. Since I have a Miyoo Mini Plus I kinda prefer that for doing those kinds of games but I just wanted to mention it properly here.

I thought i was losing my mind whenni played ds games. That blur is insane on the 3ds/2ds. I bought a dsi to see if there was a difference. This was on of the only videos i can find that talks about the differences

I thought my Miyoo Mini Plus would cover all the bases for retro games, but now I realize there's no substitute for the dual screen layout for DS games, gotta get a DSi now!

Man this took me back to 2009 when I had an “ACE Card” for my DS Lite 🤣 didn’t have to buy a single game, I’m sorry Nintendo please forgive me I’m totally not doing that again on my RP3+ 🤣 oh the memories 🏴‍☠️

This is was exactly what I was looking for. So refreshing to listen to you how do you talk about the aspects I care for in a handheld or retro in general.

I also recently bought DSi XL. I am LOVING it. Easy to mod. Having a blast playing GTA China Town Wars.

For some reason every time I pick up an NDS/GBA device I wind up replaying through one of the advance war games. So underrated desperately needs a reboot or sequel or something.

That green and black 2ds is my jam. I even bought a grip for it.
