Character matters. YES!!!! This is why many of us who live overseas, and barely knew Donald Trump initially, looked at his disgusting comments when he was first running for President, and thought this person does not have the CHARACTER to be the leader of anything! WE were stunned and horrified when he was first voted in. The second time this happened we were angry with those who did, and consequently we, and our governments, realise that we can no longer trust the people of the United States to do the right thing and/or make the right decision. The US will find that many former allies are moving away from previous agreements and alliances. Trump has ruined these relationships and all those citizens who voted for Trump (or who failed to vote at all), have allowed this, and all need to take responsibility. I feel so sorry for those who voted otherwise.
