  The Fisherman is one of my all time favorite book, ive read it multiple times. Well worth the read, however its not for everyone as its structured a little weird.

  Great list and chat on the subgenre! I'm into dystopian classics atm so I feel like the feelings they give me would tie into cosmic horror really well

  I would also recommend "Roadside Picnic" by Arkady Strugatsky & Boris Strugatsky, and "Malice House" (The Malice Compendium) by Megan Shepherd. I didn't "love" either book, but they do have that uncomfortable, otherworldly feel about them.

  Hi queen, I put all notifications on when you upload since YouTube likes to hide videos I actually want to watch. Anyway, Rat Queens is so fun! I remember collecting that in single issues when it came out. Cosmic horror stuff hasn't been my go-to genre, but there's a lot of elements in these books that I think I would dig. Lots to check out!

  I was so excited to see The Worm and His Kings on this list! I've been heartbroken for years that it's been out of print and I've been unable to complete my physical set, but Hailey Piper recently said she's working on getting it back in print, so here's hoping it happens soon so more people can read this weird creepy series.
