I am an Australian trucker, traversing the rural regions of Queensland, and you, my dear sir, are making me feel like a literary aristocrat!<br>Thank you for introducing me to the beauty of Literature. I have listened to 2 full semesters thus far, which are free online. May my experience be as unending as the long, black roads that I travel ❤

I’m only 38 minutes in and I already know this is like an early Christmas gift, booktube gold! Thank you so much! I’m currently going into year 2 of my own personal diy literature degree at 57 years old. My kids are all leaving for university themselves and I thought I’d focus my own changing life in an empty nest on self learning. This will be so useful and I can’t thank you enough.

This is wonderful. I'm a writer and former HS English teacher with two advanced degrees in the discipline. I became so jaded and cynical about teaching literature towards the end of my teaching days, and it's inspiring to see people taking up the banner of books as an insight into the soul. Keep this up!

We live in an age where teachers like Dr Walker are not offered a path at Harvard, but on the other hand can independently reach and teach tens of thousands. It makes my head spin!

I am 14 this line inspired me to work in silence Every morning the bamboo greets the sun looking unchanged. People mistake silence for failure. But beneath the soil, where no applause can reach, thousands of roots are writing the future. One day the earth opens, and the world calls it an overnight success.

This is just the type of video I’ve been looking for. All of the must-read booklists leave out the rationale for why works are essential. Thank you for all of the effort you put into making this.

Thank you for this. I've been feeling a lot of nostalgia for my first year of undergrad these past few weeks, and that feeling of facing these great streamlines of literature with that level of rigour for the first time, when it still felt like a new undiscovered intellectual realm. Your video is really scratching that academic itch in quite a lovely way :)
