talking about hood latches. I think their role is as follows: Crash load management<br>The hood is prevented from shifting rearward toward the windshield during a severe frontal impact.<br>Loads are distributed into both fender/apron structures rather than relying solely on the center latch.<br>Pedestrian protection<br>The hood can be precisely located and guided during deformation.<br>Modern hood structures are engineered to buckle in predetermined ways.<br>High-speed stability<br>The hood is constrained at multiple points, reducing flutter and shake.

First off I LOVE your channel! I trust your advice as much as my personal car repair shop (Michael & Co, San Jose CA). I’m retiring my 2003 Honda Odyssey and trying to decide which car to buy and your channel has been so helpful. I’d love to see you do a video on which models are best for drivers with mobility issues, especially which cars have adequate cargo room to accommodate a rollator walker, a mobility scooter or an electric wheel chair. Thanks again for all you do to help consumers!
