  We are on our 3rd VW Tiguan and we had no major problems , just the regular oil change and check ups.

  One of the best review of this vehicle. And I agree with your opinion about the lacking physical control .  I’m missing physical buttons that are very intuitive and convenient.

  I am encourage by the VW family.  We haven't gone anywhere, there just wasn't a car we wanted to BUY.  Hahaha!  We are roaring back and it's really great to see.

  I'm really liking this new Tiquan SE-R Turbo . Your reviews are very Honest and on point.  Nice Interior, nicely styled typical European Exterior and VW packed in a lot of "goodies" with Massaging seats, and much more.  My only gripe is the Digital Touchscreen controls for Temp, stereo Volume, etc.  I like separate Buttons for easy peasy control.  However, I would give it a good long look (maybe even rent one for few days -or convince a dealer that I neeed a day or two with the Vehicle not just a 20 minute test Drive).  There comparisons on Line against the Honda CRV Sport Hybrid , but This Tiquan would Blow that out of the water per the features included and in fact , This outclasses the Acura ADX A-Spec Advance with more features for Less Mony , No CVT or the 1.5 T Honda engine!!  FWIW, I have a 25 Acura MDX A-Spec Advance leased since Feb 1, 2025.  That replaced my 22 MDX (the 1st year of the redesign) leased for 42 months with No Problems except for premature AGM batter failure (which was replaced Under warranty caused by the Engine On /Off crap ).  But at 74 YO, I don't really need a 3 Row SUV despite that fact that I really LIKE The MDX for its comfort, ride & Handling , excellent AWD system, and other Goodies like massaging Seats.  I would wait some months time to see where I might be with the lease and/or a trade in deal considdering this new Tiquan .  BTW, Never had a VW or Audi car in the 50 years of owning / leasing cars.

  My VW ownership experiences do not align with concerns that are the focus of this review. I'm also in Chicago and don't trust JD Power Brokers so those reviews are meaningless to me. 5 VW in our family, all without problems... One has been passed down to our student driver with over 200k miles and going, a couple of GTIs, ID.4 and Tiguan. No problems on any except one PanoSunroof that needed to be replaced and all my cars have the sunroofs, except the ID.4 fixed. I won't.  In short, I'm happy and this power boost in Tiguan was needed.

  i have owned many vw with no issues my gti that i sold to a friend is 10 years old stage 2 and no issues.

  Our VW cars have never had issues with the major components, but man they have electrical issues.

  Almost bout a VW Golf Wagon FWD base was 17k last production batch sold out of them all at dealerships now  glad I didn't had high maintenance cost 😮
