  I’m doing my first game jam on juniper devs very serious jam in 2 weeks, I’m very nervous, making it with a friend (we have never worked with each other on a game and use different engines and he does 3d and I do 2d) and have only made a few games

  On the &quot;being in a team is tainted by school&quot; thing, I&apos;ve worked in some large teams for fulltime work and its a different vibe, because everyone is there to do the same thing (and, has the incentive of, well, being paid to do it). The differing context of teaming for a passion project vs being paid to be in a team and do things vs being forced to do a thing because its school cannot be overstated!

  Not gonna lie, it feels like the classic LFG problem where there are far too many coders, and a decent number of musicians, but not nearly enough artists, especially not pixel artists.<br><br>If you&apos;re a solid artist looking to get into game dev, you&apos;re probably set for life. But if you&apos;re primarily a programmer, especially a Godot programmer, you might need to be a jack of all trades out of necessity for a while.
