I think Dylan visiting homes of other artists had a lot to do with his own childhood. It’s a funny thing when you get older, just how much you try to go back and see the world through your childhood’s eyes.

Loved the conversation. Was surprised that no one ever mentioned the Traveling Wilburys. Seems like the most substantial collaboration between Dylan and a Beatle?

Frank Zappa tells of Dylan turning up at his house in Laurel Canyon to ask him to produce his next album. Now that would have been some combination!
