  Dad would love this video. Thank you so much for the respect you've shown of his talent. I love your reactions! I can't wait to see what else ya'll react to by Toto. Their catalogue is extensive, and they've had several different wonderful lead singers over the years. If you want to hear more of Dad's vocals, you should check out "I'll Supply The Love", "White Sister", "Mama" and "Goodbye Elenore", and if you prefer to watch them live, I would check out the "Falling In Between" concert live from Paris in 2007 and/or Toto Live at The Agora Ballroom in 1979. 🌺🌺🌺

  ToTo is soft rock. The backstory with the band is, they are all session musicians, which equates to music perfectionism.

  Toto is a supergroup made up of great studio musicians who have done work other artists like Van Morrison, Michael Jackson, Bozz Scaggs, Steely Dan, and others. Studio session musicians are some of the best. They can just walk in sit down grab the sheet music and go!

  That guitar is a Gibson Les Paul.  Most members of this band played on Michael Jackson’s Thriller album. Guitarist Steve Lukather  played  rhythm guitar on Beat It and Eddie Van Halen plays the solo.

  I LOVE this song. Africa is "soft rock", "Hold the line" is rock! The singer of Toto "Bobby Kimbal" doesn't' look like a rock singer, he looks like your friend's dad when you were 10 in the 70s. lolol

  Toto is the greatest line-up of session musicians to ever form a band. Drummer Jeff Porcaro rip was doing session work while still in high school. He and guitarist Steve Lukather were friends. The entire Porcaro family were all professional musicians. Brothers Steve playing keyboards (synths), and Mike played bass. Father Joe was a music professor and studio drummer. All in all, Toto had a quality of excellence hardly ever matched and never exceeded. Deep rabbit hole here, guys. 🤟😎❤❤
