  As a daughter who just lost her mother and who is cleaning out her home, I can concur that it is extremely stressful especially when one was so close to their mother. On top of that loss, to be told by her husband and father of her child that he was in love with another woman and wanted a divorce could certainly cause someone to just take a hard break from it all for self preservation. Otherwise she sounds like she was a very fascinating woman. I loved hearing about her surfing! I'm glad that this wonderful, talented woman found real love the second time around.

  I was introduced to Agatha Christie at fifteen,when I was hospitalized with a kidney infection.<br>My brother walked into my room,one visiting hour, with his arms loaded down,with a huge blue and white dog,a bag of Hershey kisses,and three Christie novels.<br>Mysteries,especially British,have been my favorite read ever since.

  I worked for a laboratory where I routinely collected blood samples on Saturdays from patients in convalescent hospitals. I met a genial man once who chatted about being a truck driver, etc. The next weekend I met his wife who said he was not a truck driver, but suffered from a fugue state and did not remember her or their daughters. It was very sad. Eventually, he recovered.

  I enjoyed the video very much. It brought back sweet memories of my late mom, who, extremely busy with 5 children, would take breaks by lying down on the living room couch and reading Agatha Christie. I believe she read everything Agatha ever wrote. I need to read her now in my mom’s memory:)

  All of my life I’ve LOVED Agatha Christie! ❤❤❤ &nbsp; my mother, and I have always shared a love of her books. She’s 86 years old now and lives with me and though we both have read all of Agatha‘s books over the years I’ve recently started reading them out loud to her. It’s become a wonderful bonding for us both. I’ve gone through about 20 or so and plan to read them all to her. I thought I knew everything about Agatha, but you were so thorough that I learned several new things. Thank you!

  I was first introduced to Agatha Christie from a book she wrote under Mary Westmacott &quot;A Rose and a Yew Tree&quot; which I had found at a used book store when I was 11 years old. I was so intrigued about the book that I looked for more. At the library I did learn that her real name was Agatha Christie and these books were even better as the &quot;Mary W&quot; books were more romantic. Over the years I have built up a collection with some original copy rights from her early years. In reading her books, I was always looking up words and learning to expand my imagination. To read her books was an escape, a way to travel yet not leave your room. I still re-read them and still diligently collecting. Her disappearance in my opinion was real to her, her mind needed a break from the world and it was what she required to heal. Her perception was her reality for those 11 days. The evidence that it worked is in her life afterwards, she was able to face the divorce and went on to write amazing murder mysteries. Thank you for this insightful documentary.
