  This just breaks my heart. This album was so hard for Brian, Roger and John. A real labor of love.

  Both Brian and Freddie Co-wrote this song and it was the last song Freddie ever recorded.  Brian wouldn't let anyone else touch this song because he said he knew exactly how Freddie wanted it.  It was so painful for the band to go back into the studio and finish recording all the stuff that Freddie had left for them, telling themm to do whatever they wanted with it after he was gone.  So many hours and days listening over and over and over to those vocals was torture and yet in a way it was like Fred was still there.  Brian said on so many occasions he started to ask Freddie what he thought, but of course, he was no longer there. Just another tug on the heartstrings.  Brian is a very emotional person so I can only imagine his grief, as well as Roger's and John's.

  Whoa Joe this is a hard one for us Queen fans.. written by both Freddie and Brian, Freddies last recording, he didn't get to finish it, Brian sings the last verse.. When Brian talks about this, he still gets tears in his eyes.. Roger stated, whenever Fred would say I need a rest, I'll finish this when I come back, it tore him apart, cause he knew one day he wouldn't be back... ❤❤

  This song hits hard whenever I hear it. Brian said he was writing the lines on pieces of paper or cigarette packs so Freddie could sing them. Freddie sang every line three times and that was it. When the song came to the last verse, Freddie said that he was too tired that he has to go home and rest and he&apos;d finish it another time. But he never came back. Brian said that those were his last moments he had with Freddie at the studio.<br>Instruments were added and the song was completed years after Freddie&apos;s passing (94/95) and that time Brian sang the last verse. He said he didn&apos;t let anyone touch the Winters Tale and Mother Love before he heard the unfinished tapes. He and Roger (and John) worked with unfinished materials at their home studios but the final mix was done at Queen&apos;s Montreaux studio.

  As an old Queen fan is so hard listen Freddie in this song, regardless of that i can&apos;t understand how he could sing that way.

  Freddie asked the guys to write stuff....write anything and he would sing it and they could do what they wanted with it when he was gone. This sounds llke he did not write it but sang it. Brian was literally writing sentiences and would hand to Freddie. This doesn&apos;t mean that Freddie didn&apos;t have input but I think Brian was the main lyricist for this song. The last song Freddie wrote was A Winters Tale.

  This is the first time I have been able to listen to this, I lost my husband a year ago so it was hard. &nbsp;Queen has got me through, listening to Freddie’s voice and Brian’s guitar, in-fact the whole band. &nbsp;Thank you Joe.
