I love this song, Freddie’s voice is just so amazing.
The music video for the song was directed by David Mallet, who had previously worked on the music video for the song “I Was Born to Love You” as well as five other Queen videos. A scale model of the Royal Opera House was built in a warehouse in North London (as the ceilings in standard studios were not high enough), where Mercury wanted to recreate scenes from Igor Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring and Dante’s Inferno*. The most striking element is probably the 20-metre (67-foot) tall rotating globe, atop which the singer stands towards the end of the video. Mallet and Mercury drew inspiration from the 1952 film *The Importance of Being Earnest when designing the set.

Freddie' s zoroastrian background was a huge influence on the image of this video.

I still have that album "Mr. Bad Guy" on CD. It was not really well received. But I love every single track on it! RIP Freddie

I love the way the drums are the defining punctuation in this song. It does look like I would imagine Hell but when Freddie was asked if he thought he would go to heaven, he said no, he didn't want to go to heaven because Hell would be much more fun.

Love this Joe, when the boys remixed this for the "Made in Heaven" album after Freddie left us. It was a true labor of love, I'm still partial to Freddies solo on this but both versions are good...

The video is based on Dante inferno. Freddie vocals are so beautiful ❤️ this version is for his solo album which I think was great, about five years after his death the music from the album become popular especially in night clubs.
