  Its unfair to say the Prussian army could not defeat Denmark. It was absolutely capable of beating Denmark, the Prussians only "lost" due to being pressured by Russia to end the war. The Prussians managed to occupy the majority of Jutland before signing a peace deal.

  Tbh the german name, the &quot;Krone aus Dreck und Letten&quot;, which roughly translates to the crown out of Dirt (Letten also roughly means Dirt, but there is no exact translation), is a far better term, because it really shows, how he despised this crown from the people

  It might have been possible if there was decisive action in 1848 and the constitution was signed and Fredrick Wilhelm IV offered the throne that same year before the revolution&apos;s momentum is lost and the fear in the hearts of the princes dies down.
