Did you know the Diner where the Soprano's had their last (?) meal was in the village. That's why it ended that way.

Interesting ROGER MOORE was listed as the FIRST movie BOND recruited but turned down due to contract with THE SAINT in which it's ALSO said McGoohan was originally cast for but turned down

What do you remember about "The Invaders" where all of the aliens had bent pinky fingers. 🤠

While McGoohan did say that No 6 was not John Drake, there were some in-canon Prisoner books released in the late 1960s/early 1970s.  One of them started with the phrase 'Drake awoke'.

It was the Lotus 7 which originally triggered my interest for watching this series.

I visited Portmeirion in Wales where they filmed it! Secret Agent had an episode "Colony Three," a sort of forerunner.

The reason they didn’t want to be connected toDangerMan was money. They would have to pay for connecting to a previous show…

My favourite episodes were the first episode and the last episode. Arrival and Fallout. I know a lot of people thought Fallout was total madness that did not explain anything. I thought it was the perfect episode to end the series. Its what mcgoohan had been building up to all along. It was great that he had total and utter control of his baby. Its what his final vision was all about. I loved the final episode in its total madness and mayhem. He  even had the Beatles Music to play on theJukebox as he was walking down for his final appearance. You cannot get more sixties than that. It was a perfect touch. When viewing it if you feel a bit uncomfortable watching it you must relax. You have to let yourself go. It summed up the 1960s perfectly. He  captured the era. He  immortalised the time period. Thankyou Mr Mcgoohan for giving me such joy when I look back at your masterpiece.  Your life s work. Be seeing you.

It is interesting ,  I lost interest in James Bond , The same way that Dr Who lost its appeal . The Prisoner however is such a fascinating series and I still can watch the episodes and enjoy them as much as ever . Brilliant !
