In 77 Grandma took us to see Disney's The Rescuers but we missed it by a day. So, we saw a movie called Star Wars instead. Childhood was never the same after that.

Saw this when I 7 years old with my Mum and Dad. They are both gone now, but it literally was the very best day of my entire life; and I'm so grateful for the memories.<br>The force will be with them , always.<br>I love this channel!!!!.

I remember that my friend and I loved it so much that after the movie, we stayed in our seats and watched it again. This was before they started clearing the theaters between showings like nowadays.

Every time I hear the 20th Century Fox intro, I equate it with Star Wars. Every time.

As a side note, his dog was named "Indiana"...thats where he got the name for his "Indiana Jones" character.

I saw it November 1977 for my 8th birthday party. Festival movie theater in Walnut Creek, CA. Still the best movie ever.

My dad took me to see Star wars when I was six I was so blown away as was my dad been obsessed ever since almost 50 years later

I remember a elderly gentleman watching every showing far 3 or 4 weeks. After the first 2 days, the theater stopped charging him admission.

Mental overload for sure. That was the moment right before the Sandperson did a jump scare raising the two handed weapon over head and making that horrific war chant. I capped my pants, but stuck it out.

I remember standing outside a cinema showing Star Wars when I was 11 and not being able to afford to see it. Once in a life time opportunity, and I missed it.
