Até hoje em meus 55 anos, não consigo tirar esse seriado de minha mente. Adoraria possuir uma nave Spindrift no tamanho original do filme. Parabéns pelo trabalho de pesquisa.

Is that Valerie in a bikini captured by the giants and strapped down while getting poked with a pencil for dastardly medical experiments? 🤪

I’d like to know if the censors ever gave the sexy portrayal of Valerie Scott by Deanna Lund any trouble. As a very young viewer I thought that Valerie was being played by Raquel Welch (for obvious reasons). Also Don Marshal, who portrayed Dan Erickson must have made waves as a black man just as.Nichelle Nichols did in Star Trek as Uhura. Marshal actually appeared in Star Trek as Lt. Boma in the Galileo episode.

OK, you replacing Dick Tufeld is great but then I freaked out that you knew someone who could do a perfect Marvin Miller. Now however after seeing how you featured Khan I think I can guess with some certainty that your Marvin Millar is also AI generated. Awesome job though. I also cracked up hearing Douglas Rain and Vic Perrin. Funny bit.

The novel taught me a life lesson as a kid:
Pester someone at the controls of something (they are trying to harm you with) long enough and they are bound to make a costly mistake.

This happened when the giants had some kind of machine (like a "presser beam") that would send rocks flying to a target; the target was the Spindrift. Well the crew bounced their two-way radio messages (which screwed-up the giant's power infrastructure) off of a cliff at a safe distance. Everytime the giant controling the machine would try to blast the Spindrift (hitting the cliff with rocks), the crew would transmit a taunting message in reply. Eventually the giant accidentally flipped the switch to change the "presser beam" into a "tractor beam" and sucked-back all the rocks, putting the giant's weapon out of commission. The crew assumed that giants would act like humans and eventually make a mistake in their frustration.

Love the Spindrift. The novel described it as a suborbital passenger liner. Its take-off was very impressive: its landing struts would raise the nose skyward, and then it would silently "fall" upward. As for why several of these ships ended-up with the giants, there was some mysterious "field" (like Van Allen belts) that these ships were rising into, and would then get transported to the other end of the "field" to then be be deposited.

Suggestion, perhaps my frequency may help. "Tales of the Gold Monkey," and the TV series, "The Lost World." I'd love to see these in one of your "deep dives!"
