Thanks for staying with me through the three-club ladder drill.
📘 The Complete Golf Secrets System, the complete book: https://coach-secrets.com/vhf3?src=comment
💌 The Quiet Swing Circle, my membership: https://join.coach-secrets.com?src=comment

The three simple steps, in the order my coach taught them:
1. Use the bounce. Stand a little closer, ball roughly under your eyes, and raise the handle until you see a little daylight under the heel. The sole slides instead of digging.
2. Let your arms hang. Stand up, take your posture and let your arms hang with their natural curve. Bring your hands together without squeezing: firm grip, soft wrists, soft forearms. Your chest moves the club.
3. Get through. At the finish, your belly button and chest face the target. Distance comes from the size of the turn and the club you choose, never from slowing down.
Bonus: chip with your nine iron more often. A shorter motion means fewer things can go wrong.
Finale: three balls, three clubs, one motion. Eight iron, pitching wedge, sand wedge. Change nothing but the club and watch the flight and the roll change for you.

One easy thing you can do tonight: stand on a carpet with a nine iron, raise the handle, let your arms hang, and brush the carpet twenty times with your chest turning through. No ball needed.

Tell me honestly: which club do you chip with today, and which one will you try this week?
