  Final Fantasy IV is still a great game--one of the best in the series. &nbsp;Put yourself in my shoes in the early &apos;90s, though. &nbsp;I&apos;d played a little game called Final Fantasy in 1990 or &apos;91. &nbsp;It was great! &nbsp;I could form my party, name each character, and embark on a world-spanning quest. &nbsp;Not long after, Final Fantasy II came out. &nbsp;Compared to the first game, it was leaps and bounds better. &nbsp;Sure, it was on the SNES instead of the NES, so of course the graphics and sound were better, but the game introduced us to characters with much more backstory than just generic &quot;Warriors of Light&quot;, complete with betrayals, torn loyalties, and bonds that weren&apos;t revealed until well into the game, when the true villain was introduced.<br><br>Final Fantasy III was even more epic in scope (and my personal favorite of the series), but it wasn&apos;t as big a leap as FFI-FFII was. &nbsp;Now, of course, we know the reason why FFII was so great: it was actually FFIV all along. &nbsp;But us middle-school kids in the &apos;90s didn&apos;t know that at the time. &nbsp;I didn&apos;t find out about the real II, III, and V until I was a young adult in the late-&apos;90s.

  Final Fantasy IV was my introduction to the series when I rented it from a local video store (along with R-Type III) on Friday, December 15, 1995, following a visit to my orthodontist (I was wearing braces and orthodontic headgear at the time) when I was in 5th grade, 11 years old. I had to return the games after the weekend was over, but FF4 (then called FF2, to hide the existence of the real FF2 and FF3 from the Western players who misses out on them) stayed with me. I would end up getting the game for good on my 12th birthday in 1996.

  The story may have its goofy parts, but it has a special place in my heart so many years later. &nbsp;I will say that it has the best battle AND regular boss music.

  IV (II) was my first Final Fantasy, and I remember my disappointment when VI (III) came out and I found out that it had nothing to do with it’s prequel. 😅 Indeed, those games were generally better, but my love is still with IV. However, the music in IV is unmatched! The overworld theme just oozes a sad, nostalgic beauty, and the Zeromus theme is a banger!

  4 being one of the easiest ones to recommend to new players is so true, and when put into perspective was amazing for its time and still holds well today. And as per usual banger video, keep it up

  I&apos;m &nbsp;now &nbsp;57 &nbsp; and &nbsp;this &nbsp;Final Fantasy IV &nbsp; was &nbsp;the &nbsp;first &nbsp;rpg &nbsp;I &nbsp;played &nbsp; I &nbsp;believed &nbsp;was &nbsp;on &nbsp;super nintendo. <br>since &nbsp;then &nbsp;I&apos;ve &nbsp;been &nbsp;a &nbsp;fan &nbsp;of &nbsp;the &nbsp;final fantasy &nbsp;games. thanks &nbsp;for &nbsp;sharing &nbsp;your &nbsp;thought &nbsp;&amp; &nbsp;your &nbsp;video.
