It's a versatile cartridge. You can hunt with it, you can shoot distance with it, you can shoot good groups with it and it has less recoil. It does a few things pretty well.

Being likened to Bob Ross was definitely a compliment. The man spent 20 years in the USAF and had a painting show in which he expressed a level of calm mastery that had to have been developed through long years of intentional practice.

Approximately 10-11.4 million Americans hunt whitetail deer. In the United States, approximately 0.7 million hunters pursue elk each year, 6.5 CM is ideal for deer and elk capable it's not going anywhere soon. Not to mention it is a joy to do some economical long range plinking with.

I'm a retired Alabama deputy sheriff and a retired M1 Abrams Tank 19K30 MOS Tank Commander / Armour crewman. I served with 1st Bn 8th Cavalry 1st CAV DIV , 1st Squadron 11th Armored Cavalry Regimate , plus many other Units . I'm now a disabled veteran After 37 years of law enforcement and Army service it's hard to not have a love for the .308 since having fired so many Remington model 700 , M60, and M240 Machinegun s over the years . Lots of good and bad memories. Lot more fun gettin to shoot and not get shot at lol. I have to admit the 6.5 Creedmoore has been a fun new venture trying something new. I own three .308s Brownng x bolt , Ruger Mk II Hawkeye, Tikka T3x, and two 6.5 Creedmoores a Weatherby Vanguard Cipher and SAKO S20. All are really awsome rifles. I shot my last 15 white tails with the Creedmoore using Hornady 143 grain ELDX bullets and inside of 200 yards I drop them just the same as .308 always did. I have been well pleased with the 6.5 Creedmore s I own . I m not able to walk far so I hunt from shooting houses watching food plots. I'm blessed with good hunting buddies that load my deer for me over the years. I really enjoy all your videos your my number # 1 favorite you tube show. I apreciate all you do for the shooting and hunting world. I've learned a lot from your videos and I hope to get one of those new 6.8 Westerns or a 7mm back country real soon.

6.5 creed is like a turbo 6 cylinder. Everyone loves to hate it, but deep down they know the performance and efficiency is better than the old V8.

My kids Savage youth 7mm-08 kicks the crap out me. I took another DV out last year on a cow hunt, and he dropped a big cow at 200 w the 143 eld-x factory.

The 6.5 CM isn’t fading away anytime soon, just like everyone said the 300 blkout would fade away yet it’s just as popular if not more than ever , they said the 6.5 Grendel would fade and again it’s still hanging around even in spite of the 6mm ARC ….. and that’s another I’ve heard will die out like the 224 Valkyrie , yet it’s actually gaining more ground
