  It is important to remember that most of the empaths were young when we dealt with narcissistic people. Had I known I was an empath at a young age I would have  educated myself in the right ways to deal with narcissists. And hearing this today made me realize that we all deserve a sincere apology. But we probably will never get one. Now we know, but I did not know then. I wish all the empaths feel loved and safe now with this knowledge. I am so grateful for Lee and him speaking about this. And shedding light on the darkness. Blessings and love for all who have endured this in their lives. And healing grace. Thank you.❤

  Thank you for reposting this! So in the middle of trying to get a divorce from this toxic relationship. So hard to let go that I’m not going to get an apology and I’m not going to “win” anything. Just have to let go, so painful and a unbelievably lonely journey.

  Wow Lee, I actually joined your course a couple of years ago after breaking away from my abusive parents. Through it and over a long period of time I also ended up identifying these same narcissist patterns in my partner, which was totally unexpected! I've ended up really ill, with pains and fatigue and other symtoms, and I feel very confused and lost in my life right now... I take your video as a sign for me to go back to your content. It feels so incredibly difficult to admit to certain things, but I'm so so grateful for your creation, presence and support! The loneliness I feel is very real and I can't wait to connect with other souls going through this empowering process!   Thank you for reposting this talk. Nine years after my divorce I discovered I had been married to a deeply disturbed narcissis for 30 years who pushed all my buttons and continued to control me thru my children.  I've been working on understanding and healing for 3 years now and finally recognize how much of myself I still have to reclaim. Thank you for validating what I've intuitively begun  to understand. You clearly have been thru it.  So few people really understand. Your questions are perfect. Searching within to heal what attracted that energetic match is quite a journey.

  Lee, thank you...their pull is so so strong and as Empaths, our downfall is also that we get to forgiveness so easily. This is a very loving and clear reminder ❤ to love ourselves, and stand straight in our entirety. <br>You forgot to say : Empaths are the ideal &quot;target&quot; for people with NPD, because we SEE THE SOUL, we see beyond the behaviours and toxicity - so we love beyond. Love is not enough. We come out destroyed, crushed, exhausted

  Narcissism was not commonly known for spoken about when I was growing up, so I am grateful for the conversations and knowledge around this topic today. My father is narcissistic and because I didn’t have a healthy framing for relationships I ended up marrying a narcissist for 20 years. The lesson I have learned from this was self love, self respect and self reliance. Healing is a lifelong process. It will get better as we practice releasing and recovering. It gets better and You are worthy and you deserve love!! ❤
