I have been shooting three rifles on a regular basis this season. An old Anschütz 64, an older Krico single shot, and a gun that I built from scrap parts. All three shoot midrange-priced ammo like SK Pistol Match Special or RWS Pistol Match better than the expensive stuff like Midas+ or RWS R50, every time out. No luck with Eley at all, and Eley is the only ammo that has had duds.

I shot Eley club and Eley match in my BSA for years. It shot good enough to me to win both national and international competitions up to olyimpic games small bore level. <br>These days I just hunt small game with CCI mini mag in my 1022 or Winchester HV in my Sterling bolt gun. Sure I get the occasional hang but mostly being quiet is more important to me than the occasional hang fire.

I am somewhat meticulous and matched the ammo to my 22 rifle just as you tell us to do here. &nbsp; The results are great when I go hunting with my friends and family. &nbsp;I usually out hunt everyone by a small margin and I believe it is due to fewer missed shots. &nbsp;Like your video shows, the quality bulk packs are a good step up and what I match to my rifle and stock for plinking and hunting. &nbsp; However. I have thoroughly tested some hyper velocity 40 grain ammo for when I go to the BIG WOODS too.

I have around 20 rifles and 6 or 7 revolvers/pistols, and each likes a specific ammo type. &nbsp;CCI standard works very well for me in most of them. &nbsp;I enjoy trying a lot of different ammo types for the guns. &nbsp;I am slowly making a spreadsheet to document what each likes and then I will keep a small note of that type in the case for each gun. &nbsp; This video is one of the best out there for new and even experienced shooters. &nbsp;Thank you!

I shoot CCI and Aguilla ammo and never had a missfire yet. I shoot a lot so I have a lot of CCI Stinger and Velocitor ammo. Now that I use supressors I use CCI standard velocit more and like the results. It runs clean and pretty accuraTE.

I have a Remington 582 that, when I bought it, really like Remington Thunderbolt. &nbsp;More recently it does better with CCI.

If you expect. 25 inch groups from your 10/22 at 50 yards from bulk pack, you&apos;re a dreamer. Just find what shoots nickel sized groups and go with that. Start with the least expensive individually packaged, like CCI, Federal, &nbsp;Winchester etc. Some of the bulk pack is not too bad but you&apos;ll never know unless you try it. I have a couple boxes of good stuff (Eley) but I only use that to impress people with a couple of my most accurate rifles. &nbsp;I would be throwing.money away shooting it from my Browning BL22 because thats my least accurate rifle I have .

I once did a 28 cartridge comparison. Took two days and lots of patience. Had to clean the barrel, foul it with some rounds, then fire for groups. Anything remington sucked horribly both accuracy and reliability. The rest varied and for sure the the eley shot best but not enough to justify the price. The surprise was the cheap wolf ammo was really good. CCI was good, federal was good. Winchester was on and off. Rather inconsistent. Any of the bulk cheap stuff was inconsistent but if all you are doing is plinking, its fine. The remington would fail so often it was hard to get through a test. The reality is other variables are likely to be more important than the ammo for most people.
