Not sure if the camera picked it up, but when I was there - I was constantly choked up and teary-eyed :)
What an amazing experience! From meeting Adam and the rest of the team, to seeing how Adam and Matt really managed to develop this guy into something that looks to be alive - it was incredible.

I remember shaking with excitement and just being astounded by how incredible it was to see this little guy come to life before my eyes. As someone who makes digital characters, rigs them and animates them - seeing a digital character come to life on my monitor is definitely a goosebump moment. But witnessing something practical come to life like that, is on a whole other level!!!

I am so glad this was documented so that I can re-experience this! Adam, Kristen, Norm, Matt and everyone else involved - thank you SOOOO much!

Ralph was my 3D modeling professor at WPI, Massachusetts. Congratulations Ralph & Matt! 👍 👍

This is likely one of the best sculpts outside of the original screen used puppets. It’s even better than the meet n greet version in the parks.

This is mind blowing stuff. I don't think that people realize how complex this animatronic really is. Outstanding work.

Adam and everyone who contributed to this Grogu build ABSOLUTELY has to build a Gizmo and Gremlin now😂 like imagine them just sitting in KFC buckets 😂 ( so you don’t have to build a walk cycle or anything like that 😂)

Interesting moment at 10:49 where Adam starts to speak and Ralph immediately animates Grogu to look at the person speaking. Fascinating how quickly he was able to do that having just taken new animation controls in-hand.

It would be ridiculously cool if you could put cameras in the eyes and use a first person headset to make it actual look at what you want to to look at.

Once again, what a wonderful space to bring collaborators in, especially when so many talented folk are working on the same project together... yet apart. And for Ralph to see his "baby" brought to life in your and Matt's capaple hands was spectacular and moving. Thank you all. Can't wait to see more.
Here's to more Grogu and his evolution... 💙🌻🎬🌻💙

Yeah adding animation layering (recorded + live) would take it to next level. Great job all! (There's a gap on the right side of his mouth as you look at him that bugs me but that's all!)
