I teach high school science and want you to know that you are basically a "Bass Scientist" at this point. I showed this video to our class and your explanation of Food webs, Water quality parameters and Wildlife management are top notch!! Science put into action! Yes, the goal may be having a large population of healthy bass, but seeing all the variables that go into this "experiment" in real time is mesmerizing. How does a snow storm effect the pond? Are Tilapia a benefit or a nuisance? Even explaining in detail how the Tilapia and Bluegill have barbs as defense against the bass and how the shiners life cycles can effect the bass population long term was fascinating to our students. Thank you so much!! We will keep watching!

Years ago, there was a live-feed setup of a hunting club that I would watch. They had maybe 20 cameras active that viewers could control and switch to. If you wanted control of a camera, you simply waited in queue for your turn. Each turn was about 90 seconds. With that many cameras, and having a set time, hundreds of people were always in queue.

I lost your channel for years and just found it again. What i remember was your first few months of building this 'pond' with the graders and machinery. I now look at what you have done and it's an elaborate aquatic eco system. Subbed... again!

You could put each camera on it's own page with a "contents" page showing live thumbnails. Then when someone clicks the thumbnail they go to the full page and so anyone can see any camera at anytime.

They just stocked the big lake in our city. It ismquite a large lake but the last time they did a fish survey, they found that there wasn't enough forage fish and there also wasn't enough bass. This was believed to be because the lake was so polluted. The drained the lake down, scraped the bottom, filled it back up, put 100 bass in and then dump shad and bluegill in. When they dumped the shiners in, they used a giant slide that launched them way out into the lake. The birds were going nuts until a few got smacked and fell into the lake. This lake is also where tons of alligators are. So they had a feeding day too.

Bamabass, I’ve always heard that mineral rocks are great for attracting deer, and hunters often buy natural mineral blocks for this purpose. Imagine taking that concept to the next level: instead of using small, pre-cut blocks, what if we sourced a massive 500‑pound mineral rock directly from a supplier before it’s broken down? Placing such a giant mineral source out in a field could create a unique experiment — we’d get to see how deer interact with it over time, whether they prefer it to smaller blocks, and just how much they’re drawn to a natural, unprocessed mineral deposit. Sound interesting? <br><br>It’s a bold, hands-on way to test whether size and authenticity make a difference in deer attraction.
