  The one we have been waiting for. &nbsp; &nbsp;A year ago, my wife and I went into Claridges for a cocktail, not staying at the hotel, so we were unsure of how it was going to go, however, we were treated so well, honestly it was like we were royalty, one of the best nights we had in London, &nbsp;they took photos for us without us asking, were warm, friendly, honestly it made the evening so special.

  I watched a wonderful documentary about Claridge&apos;s a few years back. There were these 2 rich elderly Americans who came every year and stayed for weeks during Christmas. The staff went in and rearranged the chairs, the beds, and made sure there was newspapers and coffee every day. The lady had been going to Claridge&apos;s since she was a little girl and was given a set of master keys. She ended up passing away after the documentary and her husband never went back. He passed away also. It was such an interesting look into the lifestyle of how the rich and famous stay at these hotels. They want for absolutely nothing.

  I think what appeals to me so much about this room is that it can be so lavish and luxurious but so comfortable and welcoming as well. 10/10 indeed

  During the filming of a series of programmes about this hotel, the manager Thomas Kochs was put on the spot and asked directly how much the Christmas decorations for the tree cost. He smiled gently and replied: “How much does magic cost?”

  Hannah, I really appreciate your discretion when filming, the fact that you get up at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDQifYttyOA&amp;t=330">5:30</a> to avoid the other punters is a credit to your work. I also appreciate that you gave Claridges (a British Institution) a 10/10. &nbsp;Elegance, History, Discretion &amp; Loyalty, &nbsp;The qualitys that summarise British Culture

  Fun story for you about Claridges. My friend and I were having cocktails there (The black Pearl is my fave), it was BAFTAs night and happened to run into an american lady, who joined us for drinks. She then invited her husband down to join us... and it was Matt Damon 🤣 Anyway, he was lovely, but the security were so rude about it and after we finished our drinks we was asked to leave! Apparently they assumed we approached him, when it was the exact opposite. Sounds farfetched i know, but it&apos;s the truth 🤣 Love your videos btw ❤
