  As a British person I don't understand how queuing is weird. I cannot imagine what other cultures do.. is everything just a  chaos mess of people ?!

  Re queuing. I once queued for tickets for a football match from 9am to 1pm. During the time in the queue, a message was passed up the queue that they were prioritising those who had a club membership. My Dad had one. I was getting two tickets for me and him. I said to those behind and in front of me that I needed to go back and get the membership. They held my place in the queue whilst I disappeared for an hour! That was "permitted" because we had "agreed it". 😊

  Putting your knife and fork together when you’re finished eating is simply called good table manners . It’s like saying please and thank you. Just good manners .

  It&apos;s a myth that English people <b>Love</b> a queue. It&apos;s just that queueing properly is the fairest, most sensible, quickest and most logical way to get served. You don&apos;t want to be standing in front of the counter for half an hour waiting to be served, then someone else comes up, barges straight past you and gets served right away. Especially if you still have other things to do and time is getting on!

  Saying sorry isn&apos;t necessarily an apology <br><br>It means I feel sorrow, its an acknowledgement something bad has happened. Not assigning responsibility

  The ice in drinks thing is because we are……..frugal. &nbsp;The more ice there is, the less drink there is. &nbsp;If we’re paying for a pint of lemonade then we expect a pint of lemonade, not a ton of ice and a teaspoon of lemonade.
