  Like the Auto-Union, it has something close to the VW Beetle suspension design - at several times the speed and cornering force. I'm not surprised he's apprehensive.

  As an ex-documentary film maker and a huge enthusiast of vintage racing cars, I found this absolutely fascinating.  Huge credit to Ian Jones and his team - or should I say stakeholders - for all their dedication and hard work. .Sadly I won't be attending Goodwood Revival this year but will definitely look out for the Vanguard on the GRRC YouTube channel.  Here is wishing you reliability, safe racing and great success.

  Fantastic to see the car restored and being used as they were designed to be. Pity it is not here in NZ but great anyway especially to have some one who is enthusiastic about it. In NZ they could not get racing cars into the country so home built proliferated using what they could find and or manufacture themselves. Overseas racers would come out with 3 year old European vehicles and after the season many were sold here to fund the trip and feed the local scene. Would love to see and hear some  clips of it in motion or used in anger...

  A bit more information, and shots of the tech details would be really nice. They did not even mention what 2 litre engine is used, or what the rear suspension location is. Tell us, and show some pics!<br>That&apos;s some great Kiwi ingenuity in that car, and I do love the goofy kiwi painted on it. As original, of course!

  Couldn’t they have taken some panels off or even started it ? Weird presentation with two figures and the car at a distance. Lots of repeated information. Probably is quite interesting but hard work.
