  It sounds like the UK needs the same strict consumer laws we have here in Australia. Here is doesn't matter if the warranty has expired or not. If you buy a washing machine that is a well-known brand like Samsung, and it fails in any way, even if the warranty is expired, the manufacturer must repair or replace the item if the machine is expected to last longer than it has. The ACCC (Australian Consumer and Competition Commission) has standard lengths of time an item of good quality and brand should be expected to last. I had a Bosch dishwasher fail. It had a 3 year warranty and it was 6yo. Bosch came out and replaced it. My LG OLED TV suffered a fault at 4 years old, when only having a 12 month warranty. Again, LG were fantastic and came out and fixed it for free. If these companies can do this for Australia, they can do it for the UK too. Great video!

  My old Bosch lasted 19yrs and I loved it.I bought a new Bosch about 18 months ago and have already had to have a repair.Today’s machines are not built to last.

  We've had a Bosch more than 15 years, bought it second hand...still going strong.

  Had a LG for 13 years, 8kg, 10 yr warranty on the motor, was still going strong, we wanted an upgrade, so we bought the new LG 12KG, 10 year warranty on the motor, also a 2 year warranty plus an extra 3 year warranty when you register the machine, so 5 year in total, no complaints, great machine for a family of 4

  <b>I purchased a Miele 22 years ago , it came with a 10 year warranty, &nbsp;I wash 3 loads a week every week and it still runs like an old mercedes, only had the belts changed last year </b>😊👍

  Mine is a Samsung eco bubble,I’ve had the machine 11 years,never failed me.

  I have an ebac. Bought in 2017 and still going strong. Very quiet, even on spin. Made in UK too!

  Serbia here. Bosh series 6 since 2019. &nbsp;Only &quot;problem&quot; i have with it is that water from take in spot runs thru the bracket down on machine with detergent and some corrosion is appeared under it. Once we had to change the rubber around the drum, part of rubber was missing and Bosh repeared it &quot;cause of reputation of the brand&quot;, without any cost. It is used at least 5 times a week with different size of loads.

  I bought an ebac machine in 2017 with a five year warranty , &nbsp; up to now &nbsp;it has worked perfectly.
