  Canadian here.  America was designed to feed the motor vehicle complex and its owners, hence the almost nonexistent public transportation other than in main cities.....and even that is limited depending on the city.

  No European will say I live in Europe. They would name the individual nation within the nearly 50 within Europe.

  We have 3 major airports just outside London, you can get a train to anyone of those.

  The main problem of the USA is: "Wer nichts weiß muss alles glauben" - "Those who know nothing have to believe erverything". (Marie von Ebner-Eschenbach, Austrian Writer, 1830-1916). Meaning: A lack of knowledge makes one susceptible to false or unfounded statements. If one doesn't have a well-founded opinion of one's own, one is more inclined to adopt others' opinions without question. Americans: does this sound familiar?

  (GER) Der Irankrieg kostet in 1Minute 1,8 Millionen US-Dollar aber die kann sich nicht mal eine kostenlose Gesundheitsversorgung leisten! Traurig aber noch Trauriger ist das der Googel Übersetzer sich geweigert hat es zu Übersetzten musste es mit einem anderen machen (Englisch (UK))<br>(English (UK)) The Iraq War costs 1.8 million US dollars per minute, but they can&apos;t even afford free healthcare! Sad, but even sadder is that Google Translate refused to translate it, I had to use another one (English (UK)).

  Just my opinion, but I refer to &quot;Happiest countries in the world&quot; as the true measure of a great country. The Nordic countries always do well so you know they&apos;re doing a whole lot right.
