  I think that if you have never thrown a baseball, or a football, the &quot;throwing motion&quot; may not come intuitively to everyone. This video is great, because he is right on how to approach the mechanics of the serve, but if you don&apos;t know the mechanics of a &quot;throw&quot; then this can be misleading. I remember telling a &nbsp;buddy who was starting out (he was struggling with the serve) that he should pretend he is throwing a baseball pitch at the top of the fence. It clicked in a second and he couldn&apos;t believe how easy it felt, &nbsp;and his serve improved literally 10x in that single day, but he already know how to throw a baseball with the right mechanics...

  This was good. I have a single takeaway to focus on making it more like a throw. &nbsp;I’m sure I probably could have tried to take more away, but I’m trying to keep it simple. &nbsp;Too many serving lessons on YouTube are trying to teach so many mechanics at once - I like your simple and direct approach.

  Nailed it.<br>For people like me, who tend to over think everything being OCD, going back to basic biomechanics is the key. This serving technique is spot on...got my feeling back almost immediately rather than focusing way way too much on pronation, correct direction or toss of ball height etc etc. A throw of a ball, is easy and natural, anyone can do.,...and without teaching,... it is a natural motion when a ball is thrown. This reinforces it totally... by a simple mechanism.
