This was great to catch up on. Another aspect of the war I know so little about. Hoping there's opportunity for more Brasil presentations in future!

A very informative and educational presentation. Know nothing about Brazilian involvement in Italy

American here. First of all, Brazil sent men to fight the Nazis. Any country who did that has my eternal thanks.
Command clashes, communications breakdowns, mistakes during battle, these things happen. Strong personalities tend to rise to command and if our leaders were angry at your leaders, well let me offer an apology on behalf of my country.
I strongly suspect that this was a disagreement in the heat of the moment among men who, after all, shared the same goal of defeating the Nazis.

Very informative. IIRC in addition to the forces discussed here, the Brazilian Navy played an important role doing anti-submarine escort in the South Atlantic and Carribbean.
