The skill of most historians on WW2 TV is very impressive, Geoffrey, of course, illustrating this. Thier dogged determination enriches whatever they decide to share with history buffs. Kudos.

Excellent presentation. I liked that it not only told the Marines’ stories, but also showed the research tools and methods used to uncover them.

Excellent example of just how much dedication goes into this type of research...a very good show.

I met Geoff a long time ago at a living history/reenactment far, far away.
One of the best, most kind and selfless individuals I’ve met and had the pleasure to be comrades/friends with.
Congratulations on all the work you’ve done to find the men you’ve found, to reveal lost information and interpret/publish new avenues.
Ed Bearrs would be proud.
Well done Geoff and Woody!

Raiders launched at night from submarines on small unit recon missions and some missions by small float planes at night and cut the engines and glide in and drop off units and pick up which is an awesome way to infiltrate a target , in places where boats wouldn't be best or range was a factor , but boats were used to , there were two man collapsible kayaks available for submarine infiltration and imposter native fishing vessels where large numbers of natives were close in proximity to Japanese forces

Great info, great researching and great job telling the story. I love that he was actually able to get info from some of these Marines before they passed.
Oh - and the beginning of the book is great so far. Still reading!

Well done buddy. One of the best researchers I know. You have a great book here.

An outstanding presentation! As a son of a Marine, my father would be very proud and supportive of Geoffrey's work to identify MIA Marines.
