“It got quiet” sometimes means they were talking about you, but sometimes it means they were gossiping about someone else and don’t want to include you in the convo. Either way it’s toxic.

My managers have gossiped about my sexuality, my disability, my personal life, and its all gotten back to me and ive written it all down. Theyre in for a SHOCK 😂

This happened without the quitting part with a person even disturbing my peace at home. I was written up for addressing him at work when harassment reached peak aggravation. The person still works less than 200 ft from me down the hall.

When I got my first job as a teenager, my dad told me do not gossip at work. He said it never ends well. I remember it to this day. Today, my workplace had an employee handbook update, and there is a new policy of no gossip. It spells out exactly what that entails. Thanks, Regina ❤!

At my job the leadership team is responsible for most of the gossip. They have literally started fake rumors about people just to stir the pot.
