Anzacs didn’t destroy villages or shoot them like Americans did. SAS talked to villagers and gave respect. They watch villages for days to see who the enemy was.

Please tell a Vietnam era Australian soldier what Australian unit EVER wore a slouch hat in Vietnamese villages, let alone one with a lemon-squeezer bash. Add to that the US style upside-down rank chevrons on his shirt and you have a monumental stuff-up in the thumbnail alone! 🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦

Thank you for allowing comments to be posted, many sites wont let you post a comment any more, so thank you. I was an Australian soldier during the Vietnam war, to be honest, no one really knew what was going on. We were well trained and respected discipline but really didn't think too much about what was going on. It took years to assess the reality, the crap , though, about Borneo and Malaysia being salient areas of understanding jungle warfare is rubbish though, Australian forces rained for this, it wasn't an issue of having fought in Malaysia or Boneo, yeahh it help I suppose but was never an issue with Vietnam.

This is American rubbish and the photos do not match anything the SAS wore in Vietnam. From one who was there.

Drawn out, laborious and repetitive. Slides were irrelevant and useless. Pronunciations such as Phuc Tuy were hilarious.
