  Fun fact...and yes I&apos;m old. Elle&apos;s use of a colored and scented resume was something people used to do. When I graduated from college the 90s, during senior year you would meet with your advisor for tips on how to stand out when applying for jobs with paper resumes. You either had to physically bring one to an interview or send it via actual mail. The tip they gave me for mailing resumes was to add something to make you stand out. I swear to God I am not making this up. One suggestion was to also include a packet of seeds for Forget Me Not flowers along with your cover letter, an official transcript of your grades and the resume.<br>I did have an internship, so besides that everything else was part time jobs you did to make money and not really relevant to the jobs you were applying for. Never used the seeds. LOL. I was extremely lucky as my internship was with a major company. I 100% believe had I used that tip I would not have been hired where I was straight out of college.

  I know they needed it for the plot, but the snobbery towards her being a &quot;Fashion Major&quot; was always ridiculous to me. Her major was Fashion Merchandising, which would have included some courses in business, marketing, etc. Not just classes like &quot;polka dots&quot;, lol! Also, the moment in the salon with the professor, was pretty huge. She was also once a pretty blonde that no one took seriously in law school.

  the professor was in Titanic, 1997, he played a good guy there. Vivian changed her approach when she saw that the prof was only asking her to get coffee bcs she is a woman. she realized she&apos;s being just as discrliminated as Elle...
