I spent 6 hours today in my kitchen and ended up tossing out 10 FULL 13 gallon trash bags of stuff. Expired spices, canned and jars of food in the cabinets, oldest expired in 2012, several pots and pans I never use, oh the food storage container and many lids cabinet filled1 full trash can alone. The many, many gadgets I never use. All of it got tossed. I am shocked and get this. I'm only about 70% done. Some things I had multiples of, like 6 things of hot sauce , 5 jars of peanut butter, 5 spatulas, I don't know how many bowl scrapers I had but I'm down to just 2 now. Crazy. It felt so good to get all that OUT. I cant even image if I had to bring all that back in and put it back away. I cant thank you enough for inspiring me.

I agree with everything but washing different colors of clothes together. That just doesn't work for me.

Distilled water..I worked in a cathedral with a lot of glass doors and their cleaner cleaned them with a cloth and distilled water. Sparkling and smear free

We do pretty well according to this list. I regularly wear my Sunday church outfit for work on Monday. All the things. Except I can’t get my husband to take off his shoes in the house. And I use the towel once

In most houses in Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Singapore, we either go barefoot or wear indoors slippers. We store shoes in the cabinet near the main entrance. Shoes are dry cleaned before storage. My home, we periodically sanitised our shoes and sun them. We don’t hang clothing we wore a couple of minutes or an hour back into the closet. We hang them out to air and get the sun to do its job, and later hang them separately but not in a closet or bedroom. What we do to our clothing, we don’t do the same for socks, we put on a new pairs each time, regardless a short while or not because they stink and foul smell or bacteria can transfer to the next pair of sneakers. After use, bath towels which we don’t share, are hung near windows to get the heat and air before putting them back on the towel hanger. Towels are washed and replaced with fresh ones within a 5-6 days. Documentary experiments have proven large amounts of bacteria grew beyond unacceptable level within a week.
