For me the sentimental box is the hardest with having 4 kids, I keep my house pretty clean and organized but spend to much time on it so thanks for the advice I will try your method 😊

I struggle less with removing items from my belongings but more with throwing away things that are still in good condition and are perfectly usable for others. <br>But in a world of overconsumption it’s effort to find new owners for my things. 😑<br>And don’t tell me I can give it to charity, because they have also more than enough stuff and clothes will go to landfills sooner than later

The ‘day’ that’s most difficult? Expecting to do any one category in a day! I have a big house. My husband is an invalid. I’m disabled. I’m a hoarder by genetics (3 of 4 grandparents, both of my parents), and proclivity. <br><br>One day, one category is an unachievable fantasy. <br><br>So, should I do Day 2 on Mondays, Day 3 on Tuesdays until I’ve done it all? Or Day 2 every day until that Day is finished? <br><br>I can pride myself on the fact that we don’t have bugs. But we have goat paths instead of hallways. Piles instead of closets. I have a lot of disordered thinking. I hope the question of what STAYS vs what GOES will help me reframe decisions. <br><br>We also have a 10x15 storage unit. And 2 messy cars.
