  I’m 43 and I’d give only 3 most important tips to younger people:<br>1. No alcohol/ drugs <br>2. Save and invest 50% of your income for 10 years <br>3. Don’t get married unless you’re 100% sure she is the right person.

  In my 40s now, and this is absolute gold.<br>For the last 10 years, I’ve worn the same 4 t-shirts, 2 shirts, 2 shorts, and 2 pairs of jeans. My PJs are just my oldest clothes, and I rarely eat out. It’s not about being cheap. it’s just that those things aren&apos;t a priority anymore. They don&apos;t even cross my mind. When a luxury car drives past me, my only reaction is: Mine is paid off.<br>There is a massive psychological shift that happens when you fully pay off your car or your house. You appreciate them a hundred times more. It is the greatest feeling on earth.<br>Meanwhile, your buddies are traveling and spending constantly, but everything in their lives actually belongs to the bank. You might &quot;look&quot; like you have less on the outside, but you completely own every single thing you have.<br>Let them chase the illusion. When you owe nothing to anyone and own your life, that’s the real flex. <br>That is what I call being Rich.

  I’m 44 and having a mid-life crisis of sorts. Took a big promotion last year and have since become very disillusioned with corporate life. I dream about spending my days outside in nature or doing something creative. The money is good but I’d rather be free.
