  I am 67. Got made redundant at 30. Became a clown, youth worker and artist. Mum said I had spent my life messing about. I agree, not really made anything, but god I’ve had fun.

  I had a nervous breakdown 7 years ago at work, and never went back. I was 63. I was lucky to be able to sell up and downsize. Still healing but tons better than I was. Work was killing me. ❤

  I love when l realise l am retired and can sleep in. The joy of going back to bed with a cup of tea and book, scrolling the TV. No where to go....so l have a duvet day. Listening to the rain. I earned this time.

  I retired at 66 was so happy no ruddy work anymore and working with lazy colleagues and rotton bosses. And attacked twice when working in a shopping centre no support from boss. Injured twice hospital visits. Court case. Counselling too. I was sooo happy to End the working week. Happy to be home no early mornings and late getting home. So enjoy your retirement as best you can because our Country is in dire need of Help. Take care ALL. ♥️

  Handed my notice in on Friday. 3 months &nbsp;more work then i’m free. Already feels different. I realised that my time is more precious now that I’m approaching 60. &nbsp;Both my parents have passed in the last couple of years. Watching them fade away due to dementia and cancer made me reevaluate my life and what i truly wanted. You start to understand that time is finite as is health. I think i have enough money to last through retirement but its still a little tight but i am simply not willing to trade the time i have left for more money or restrictions .

  My wife and I worked hard, paid off everything and retired early. She was 45 and I was 49. That was nine years ago and we would not change a thing.

  I was up at 6am I&apos;m 60andexhausted &nbsp; &nbsp; l feel like I could cry another 7,, years sometimes it&apos;s all too much
