  I think the most depressing endings aren&apos;t the ones where everyone dies. <br> <br>It&apos;s when the character technically survives, but there&apos;s absolutely nothing left for them to go back to. Those endings stick with me way longer.

Even the other Robots are surprised &amp; disheartened, and even try to help him because THEY understand that he&apos;s just a CHILD. All the other Humans, including the Family that bought him &amp; his Creator only see him as a MACHINE, and completely ignore the fact that he was built with the mind of child that will never become an Adult

  I swear i remember the monkeys paw ending with the door opening, the mother seeing her mutilated son in horror and right as he makes the wish they’re both gone. If not then this would’ve been a KILLER ending
